FAQ

How do lab orders work?

Lab work can be an essential part of understanding what’s going on in your body. Doctors at First Stop Health routinely order lab work to:

  • Check in on your health as part of your routine annual checkup
  • Test for nutritional deficiencies, infections and more
  • Check your cholesterol and blood sugar levels
  • Authorize prescription refills
  • And more

Talk to your doctor.

During your virtual visit, your doctor may suggest lab work based on your symptoms and/or health history. If you have a concern, you can also ask your doctor if lab work would be appropriate for you.
